It seems that you have pretty much been hitchiking with bikes up to now. I must say, Jen, I'm not convinced by Plums riding on your back wheel "because it assists with headwind and drag". It sounds to me that he is riding in your slipstream and I think you'll find, if you look around, that he's freewheeling pretty much most of the way. Have you wondered why he is not as tired as you?
