Send an SMS Satphone Message

You can now send us an SMS message to our Satphone (free of charge) using the form below. Please enter our Satphone number 881631617273 plus your email address and any message you want to send us (it’s always good for morale!).

Please note: Most SMS messages should get through however some do get lost in space (apparently) especially if the phone is off. The best time for us to get them is at the end of the day and first thing in the morning when we are camping and have the Satphone on. We are 5hrs behind GMT (GMT -5) at the mo so if you’re in the UK it’s best to send a message between:

  • 22:00hrs and 04:00hrs (GMT); or
  • 11:00hrs - 13:00hrs (GMT).

We will not respond to any messages unless they are of a critical nature and from certain people. That said we will always do our best to once we come across the next internet cafe/access.
